DeFalco Wins Friday, but Monster Energy Leads Going into Sunday’s Double-Points Finale at Key West Offshore Worlds
Record 98-boat field battles on turquoise waters as season finale draws thousands
KEY WEST, FLA. (November 8, 2025) `— DeFalco Construction captured Friday’s Pro Class 1 race at the Race World Offshore Key West World Championship, but Monster Energy/M CON Racing holds the overall points lead heading into Sunday’s double-points finale on the waters surrounding the Southernmost City.
Tyler Miller and Myrick Coil in Monster Energy/M CON lead the Pro Class 1 standings with 203 points after two days of competition. DeFalco, driven by Mike Falco with throttleman Billy Moore, sits second with 184 points after winning Friday’s race in 14:51.9 on the 4.4-mile course through Key West Harbor.
The three-day championship format awards standard points Wednesday and Friday, with double points at stake Sunday.
Thousands of spectators lined Truman Waterfront Park, the beach at Fort Zachary Taylor Historic State Park and Mallory Square as top teams from across the U.S. and seven international teams battled Friday.
In Super Cat action, Brit Lilly and Bill Pyburn in Dirty Money Racing swept both Wednesday and Friday to build a 212–161 lead. Factory Stock is the tightest race. Say Less MF and GC Racing MTI are tied at 205 points, and GC Racing won Friday’s seven-lap contest by 2.3 seconds in a photo finish.
Super Stock leader Raymarine extended its advantage to 215 points after Friday’s win, while Knucklehead Racing moved atop Super V with 189 points, ahead of defending champion Team Farnsworth Motorsports at 180.
The 44th annual Key West World Championship has drawn a record 98 boats, with teams competing for world titles across 14 classes.
Sunday’s championship races begin at 10 a.m. Race World Offshore will livestream the action on Facebook and YouTube. General admission tickets are available onsite at Truman Waterfront Park, with VIP hospitality packages and water-shuttle service available at raceworldoffshore.com.
