Key West BrewFest 2025 Kicks Off This Weekend
Five Days, 225+ Craft Brews, and Island Adventures That Give Back
KEY WEST, Fla. (August 26, 2025) — Beer enthusiasts, mark your calendars! Key West BrewFest is back with the perfect blend of world-class brews, tropical vibes, and community spirit. Presented by the Key West Sunrise Rotary, the festival features five sud-soaked days of craft beer, 12 island experiences, and a signature Grand Tasting at the Southernmost Beach Resort.
The celebration kicks off this Thursday, August 28 and runs through Labor Day, September 1 with an extensive event line up. Here’s a sample of what you can expect.
Thursday Kickoffs: Dive In
- Pool Floatie Chug & Race (Southernmost Beach Resort): Grab a brew, race across the pool on a floatie, chug again, race back. Pure island fun with La Rubia American Blonde Ale and Wynwood Brewing.
- Tap Takeover Pool Party (Winslow's Bungalows): Waterfront Brewery takes over with tastings, live music, and waterfront cookout vibes.
- Bark & Brew Kickoff (Oceans Edge Resort & Marina): Open bar, dog ice cream, raffles benefiting Florida Keys SPCA because every member of the family deserves to party.
- Grilled Cheese & Beer Pairing with Trivia (Southernmost Beach Resort): Four gourmet grilled cheeses perfectly matched with Florida Keys Brewing craft selections, plus brain-bending trivia.
Friday Flavor Adventures: Taste & Play
- Pineapple Pool Party & Belly Flop Contest (Southernmost Beach Resort): Islamorada Brewing & Distillery hosts poolside samples, DJ beats, and belly flop championship laughs.
- Pizza & Pints Pool Party (Lighthouse Hotel): Southernmost Pint Brewpub pairs with Clemente's Woodfired Pizza for the ultimate comfort combo.
- Brews & Bites Bash (First Flight): Four-course dinner featuring in-house craft brews in a lush tropical garden setting.
Saturday Spectacular: The Main Event
- Backyard Olympics, BrewFest Edition (Blue Flamingo Resort): Beer pong relays, flip cup tournaments, blind tastings, and glory-seeking games.
- The Grand Tasting: Saturday's Crown Jewel: The signature Grand Tasting takes center stage on Saturday, August 30, from 3–8 p.m. at Southernmost Beach Resort. With more than 60 vendors pouring over 225 varieties of craft brews, it's the largest beer celebration of its kind in the Keys. Live music sets the tropical tone while Southernmost Beach Café serves up authentic beer hall fare with ocean views.
Weekend Wind-Down: Art & Giving
- 3 Daughters Brewing Drink & Draw (The Marker): Creative competition where artistic skills meet craft beer appreciation. Win bar tabs while unleashing your inner artist.
- Beer Pairing Dinner (Matt's Stock Island Kitchen & Bar): Four elegant courses paired with Cayo Hueso Brewing favorites.
- Charity Bingo (Green Parrot Bar): Close out BrewFest with prizes, beer specials, and final fundraising for student scholarships.
