Thousands Pack Duval Street in Key West for Concert Featuring Platinum-Selling Country Duo LOCASH

KEY WEST, Fla. – Five days. 60 live performances. More than 200 singer-songwriters. And one. Iconic. Location — Key West, Florida.  

Thousands of music lovers packed onto a famous street in Key West on Saturday night to jam out with the artists who write some of country music’s most memorable songs.  

The free concert was part of The Key West Songwriters Festival ... which for five days and nights, offers live music and acoustic storytelling sessions from veteran songwriters and rising stars.  

Platinum-selling country music duo LOCASH (Pronounced Low-Cash) brought the heat to legendary Duval Street ... belting out hits like their chart-topping single “Hometown Home.” They even the got the crowd to sing along to songs they wrote for artists, like Tim McGraw with “Truck Yeah.” 

Now in its 29th year, The Key West Songwriters Festival has become a rite of passage for rising country stars, and an annual tradition for fans looking to enjoy their music at Key West’s bars, restaurants, theaters, waterfront resorts, and at pool parties. 

Proceeds from the five-day event benefit the BMI Foundation, a nonprofit founded in 1985 that supports music education and creation through various grants and scholarships, along with Michelle’s Foundation, a Key West-based nonprofit that helps children and families in need.
